This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for the services of Zulu Code (Pty) Ltd ('we', 'us' or 'our'). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
Projects
Unless your quotation says otherwise, 50% of the project fee is payable when you accept the quotation and 50% on delivery. All project payments are final and no refund will be issued, except as set out below.
Either party may end a project with written notice. Work completed up to that point is payable in full.
Hosting, domains and recurring plans
Hosting, domain and maintenance plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All payments for these plans are final and no refund will be issued for a billing period that has started. You can cancel at any time by emailing us; you keep the service until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
Domain registration and renewal fees are passed on to the domain registry once the domain is registered or renewed, so they cannot be refunded after that.
Charged in error
If you were charged in error (for example, charged twice for the same invoice or period, or charged after your cancellation took effect), contact us and we will refund the amount charged in error.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
