Information we collect
- Contact details you share with us (name, email, phone, company) when you enquire via our forms, WhatsApp, or email.
- Project data you provide during an engagement (briefs, brand assets, credentials where applicable).
- Site analytics — aggregated, non-identifying usage data collected via first-party analytics.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiries and deliver the services you request.
- To improve our website and service offerings.
- To send occasional updates, where you’ve opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted sub-processors (hosting, email, payment) strictly to deliver the service you requested, and only under confidentiality agreements.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@zulucode.co.za.
Terms of Service
By engaging Zulu Code for any service, you agree to these terms. They describe the basic expectations between us.
Scope of work
Every engagement is confirmed in writing via a proposal, quotation, or statement of work that sets out deliverables, timelines, and pricing. The written scope takes precedence if there is any conflict with verbal discussions.
Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, 50% of the project fee is payable on acceptance of the quote, and 50% on delivery. Hosting and recurring services are billed monthly or annually in advance.
Revisions
The number of revision rounds included in a package is shown on the applicable service page. Additional revisions are billed at our standard hourly rate.
Ownership
Upon full payment, you receive full ownership of all final deliverables except third-party assets (fonts, stock imagery, open-source libraries) which retain their original licences.
Cancellation
Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. Work completed up to that point is payable in full.
